Donation supplies

We are always in need of all sorts of necessities to keep our dogs and cats well fed and in a clean and sanitary environment. 
Puppy milk; wet and dry puppy and dog food; wet and dry kitten and cat food; cat litter and litter trays; flea and worm treatments; and beds are the items we go through the fastest. Toys (especially ones for super chewers); treats; leads; kennels, collars and harnesses of various sizes are also always needed. If you see any of these items on sale, please consider purchasing some to donate to us. 

Your donations help to take some of the pressure off our limited funds. Receiving these items as donations, instead of having to purchase them, allows our limited funds to go towards the necessary vet work our dogs and cats require. It also increases our resources so we can ultimately help more animals find a safe and loving home.

Clam shell pools make great outdoor dog beds and refreshing baths for dogs on a hot day. Baby gates and playpens come in handy when our foster carers need a safe, separate, space to care for young pups.

Anything which can be used for bedding: old blankets, sheets, towels, etc.

Knitting wool and fabric which our volunteers can turn into dog coats and blankets.

  If your item won’t fit in the bin, is too valuable, or you don’t have a donation bin near you, please send an email to info@dogrescuenewcastle.com.au telling us where you are and we’ll reply with a nearer drop off point.

  If you can’t deliver to us, we may be able to arrange to pick up from you.

We also have a number of wish list donations on amazon.com.au that our animals in care need on a daily basis and you can easily purchase and have sent directly to our shelter.
