Dog Rescue Newcastle 2025 Calendar Contest Terms and Conditions Eligibility

This contest is open to individuals aged 18 or older at the time of entry. Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of Dog Rescue Newcastle and Port Pacific Resort are not eligible to participate. Contest Period The contest begins 6:00pm AEDT Friday 8th November 2024 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT Wednesday 13th November 2024. Entries submitted after the end date will not be considered.

How to Enter

Participants can enter by commenting their guess on the contest posts published on Dog Rescue Newcastle's Sydney arm - North Shore Dog Rescue Instagram profile. Each participant may enter multiple times; however, only their most recent guess on each post will be counted as their official entry.

Contest Structure

Over the course of 6 days, two dogs from the 2025 Dog Rescue Newcastle Calendar will be featured daily on @northshore.dogrescue Instagram, each with clues about their name. Participants are encouraged to guess the names of each featured dog. The participant with the most correct guesses across all featured dogs at the end of the contest period will be selected as the winner. In the case of a tie, the earliest correct entries (based on timestamp) will be selected.

Prizes

1st Prize: A 7-night stay at Port Pacific Resort + a 2025 Dog Rescue Newcastle Calendar. 2nd to 5th Prizes: Each winner will receive a 2025 Dog Rescue Newcastle Calendar. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.

Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected based on the highest number of correct guesses at the end of the contest period. Winners will be notified via direct message on the social media platform used for their entry within 7 days of the contest’s end. If a winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected. Winners will be selected after the contest closes and notified in writing on Friday 15 November 2024 (AEDT).

Privacy

By participating in this contest, participants agree to allow Dog Rescue Newcastle & North Shore Dog Rescue to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

Limitations of Liability

Dog Rescue Newcastle & North Shore Dog Rescue is not responsible for any technical issues or entries not received due to technical disruptions, regardless of the cause. By participating, entrants release Dog Rescue Newcastle & North Shore Dog Rescue from any liability arising from their participation in the contest or acceptance of any prize. General Conditions Dog Rescue Newcastle & North Shore Dog Rescue reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if any fraud, technical failures, or other factors beyond its control impair the integrity or proper functioning of the contest. This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform.
